argumentation 

1. Definition

Argumentation text is a text that contains the author’s opinion accompanied by reasons and factual evidence. Presented logically and objectively. The goal is to persuade and influence the reader.

2. Structure

There are 3 parts to the argumentation text. That is

-          - Introduction

-          - Main content/arguments 

-         - Conclusions

3. Function

Influencing behavior, attracting   readers to be able to make conclusions and opinions which can then influence the behavior of readers towards the issues being discussed.

4. Types of argumentative text

a. Cause and effect argumentative text

-        b.Equality argument paragraph

-       c.Comparative argumentation text

-       d. Authority argumentation text

-       e. Testimony argumentative text
